If you have the option to join the LGPS again now or in the future, that might be a great way to increase your retirement income.
Rejoining could enable your deferred pension to be linked to your final pay before you retire. If you do rejoin the LGPS, it is important that you contact us and also any other LGPS fund that you become a member of.
There are rules that we have to apply to your deferred benefits if you do not give us any instructions. Applying these rules may not be to your advantage.
