Today marks Strathclyde Pension Fund's 50th birthday.
SPF began on 16th May 1975 as part of the re-organisation of local government across Scotland, which created Strathclyde Regional Council.
We're still going from strength to strength today.
You will see some changes as we pass this milestone: we've re-branded with a new logo to mark the occasion; we'll be asking our members - new and old(er) - what SPF means to them; and we'll be holding an event for employers and member representatives later in the year to look back on our first 50 years and also look towards the future.
Though mostly in future we'll just keep doing what we've been doing for the last 50 years - taking care of our members' pensions savings and paying their pensions.
